Health Innovation Alliance Appoints Sarah Ahmad, CEO of DataSpring, to its Board of Directors

June 9, 2026 — The Health Innovation Alliance (HIA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Sarah Ahmad, Chief Executive Officer of DataSpring, powered by CAQH, to its Board of Directors. Ahmad joins a distinguished group of healthcare leaders dedicated to advancing innovation, improving health outcomes, and shaping the future of healthcare and longevity.



A nationally recognized healthcare executive, Ahmad brings more than 30 years of healthcare leadership experience spanning health insurance, care delivery, technology, and innovation. As CEO of DataSpring, Ahmad leads an organization trusted across the healthcare ecosystem to improve the flow of healthcare data and reduce administrative complexity. Prior to joining DataSpring, she served as Senior Vice President of Health and Wellness at Shoppers Drug Mart, Canada's largest pharmacy and health retailer. She has also held executive leadership positions at Magellan Health, Highmark Health, and Humana, where she led initiatives focused on innovation, transformation, and healthcare operations.
